Boomerang

Jamal, in his twenties, choses to leave Morocco and his family behind, illegally. He joins a likeminded group of people to embark on the “Patera”, a skiff that is supposed to take them to the coast of Spain, their promised land. While awaiting nightfall in a shed he meets Amal, a young woman who strives for the same dream. But that very dream quickly turns into a nightmare…
